Fred Ramirez is a lifelong resident of North Central Philadelphia. He is the founder and CEO of Pan American Behavioral Health Services and co-founder of USALA media. Fred’s accomplishments include Executive Director of the Regional Office of the Governor of Puerto Rico – representing Latinos in Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Delaware, and Maryland; special assistant at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the U.S. Department of Energy; served as chair of the Penn-Ser Jobs for Progress and Vice Chair for United Way Southeast, Pa. Fred has focused his entire career on community wealth building and social justice issues affecting the Latino Community. In 2016, he was selected as one of the most Influential Latinos in the Greater Philadelphia Region by Impact News.
Leslie Acosta was born in Puerto Rico and raised in North Central Philadelphia. After graduating from college, she began her journey providing social services to underserved families. After completing her master’s degree in Business Administration, she taught courses in leadership management, financial management, public speaking and social Justice. Leslie has a wide range of experience advocating and crafting policy initiatives in criminal justice reform, government contracts, social services, gun safety laws and education, to name a few. In 2016, Leslie produced and created the radio show “Voices from the Inside” at WTTM 1680am. A talk show, that gave Juvenile lifer’s, the opportunity to share and narrate their story from within the prison walls – promoting “Education over Incarceration.” Leslie is the founder of USALA media. Her years of public service inculcated a passion to create a culturally inclusive multimedia center in TV, radio and digital news. The vision is to bridge the leadership vacuum in the Latino community; create a platform where community members can hear their own voices; educate and empower people to change the narrative.
Felix is an experienced trial lawyer with extensive experience in employment law, civil rights and commercial law. His goal is to help underserved communities access justice and pursue social change.

Telissa brings 28 years of business and organizational leadership expertise to both enterprises. She was named by Diversity MBA Magazine as a “Top 100 Leader Under 50” and the Philadelphia Business Journal recognized her with the “Minority Business Leader Award.” Additionally, Telissa received the NAACP Professional Achievement Award. She earned a Juris Doctor degree from Temple University School of Law, and she is a member of the New Jersey State Bar, United States District Court, American Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association and the Camden County Bar Association She earned a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus in organizational leadership and a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Business Administration from Brenau University. Telissa is also a decorated war veteran that served in the United States Army during the Persian Gulf War. Her volunteer efforts are dedicated to improving the financial condition of ethnically and culturally diverse communities through education, home ownership, and economic development.
Luis is a native from New Jersey. He pursued his career in filming and graphic design from The Los Angeles Film School. Dan, began is technical skills at church. He further pursed his passion for the arts landing him leading technical roles producing and editing music videos and working for distinct artist locally and abroad.
Marilyn Rodriguez is the founder and producer of the show (Ahora Si) aired weekly at La Mega, radio station, 105.7. After six years on the airwaves Marilyn decided to take her show to Comcast 66-966 HD, Verizon 29-30 and Phillycam.org live stream. Her show is not only aired in Philly, but transmitted for channels in Dallas Texas, London and the UK. Hailing from West Philadelphia Yasmina uses her skills to uplift her community and those around her. From working with organizations such as Jumpstart! and the Social Justice School she is dedicated to the betterment of all people. Yasmina is currently serving as the Director of Social Media for USALA Media.
Fernando is a founding member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Mexican Cultural Center. He was formerly the Editor of El Sol Latino Newspaper (1996-2002) and presently serve as Editor-at-large.
