Where the lively rhythms and spirt of Latin America meets Jazz – a truly exceptional and spicy flavor of the beloved genre.

For over 40 years, Eddie Maldonado has displayed his natural musical talent playing salsa piano with numerous local bands and orchestras in the Philadelphia and tristate area. Eddie is highly skilled in jazz vocals and musical instruments including the Piano, Timbales, and Drums. He has had his share of performances with well-known groups such as Charanga La Unica, Panama y su Ritmo Caliente, Joe Barretto’s Combo, and played with Joe Cuba Sextet.

Presently, he is a member of the Jazz Feds as a lead vocalist and percussionist. They perform for military events and special occasions. Having a passion for music he enjoys sharing his experiences and mentoring up-and-coming musicians. He continues to play piano and enjoys coaching his youngest daughter who is a talented singer selected for the “Vibes”, a premiere a cappella group at George Washington University.

Mr. Maldonado attended the University of the Arts where he studied and received his certification in Digital Photography Technology. Currently, he is the Primary Photographer for the Defense Logistics Agency at the Naval Base in Northeast Philadelphia. He’s married to Damaris Gonzalez and is the proud father of three joyous children.
