Explicit Graphic Novel That Shows Suicide to Children

Tia is highlighted here to show the issues of these types of graphic novels that are written for children. This particular story shows a child at Cub Scout Camp that gets rejected by another scout so he decides to attempt suicide! Which is dawn out for all to see, basically showing a child how to harm yourself.

Tia Bess, Director of National Engagement for Moms for Liberty, and additional information from Sheila E. Armstrong, the new local chapter President for the Philadelphia chapter:

During the interview, Tia Bess shared her personal journey, as a mother and Black conservative who came from a democratic household, and what led her to become involved with Moms for Liberty, and how she became Director of National Engagement for them also discussed the organization’s focus on defending parental rights at the national level, including same sex parent households despite the negative narrative being pushed in the media calling them a hate group. She also addressed criticisms of the organization’s tactics and shared a success story in which Moms for Liberty helped to overturn a mask mandate in a Florida school district; and now controversial books, and the organizations work to shed light on what is now being offered to our kids to read and look at and the graphical nature of them. Tia emphasized the importance of building relationships and empowering others in the organization’s values. In addition, Sheila E. Armstrong was introduced as the new local chapter president for the Philadelphia chapter of Moms for Liberty. Armstrong is a born and raised Philly girl, an education advocate, and a sports fan who received her MBA from the University of Phoenix. She has achieved victories such as the dissolution of the SRC in 2018 and the recent PA Supreme Court case of William Penn School District vs The Commonwealth of PA.
