Dillon DeRosato / Technical Director
An Audio Engineer by profession, with a Multimedia-Creative mindset, and a Humanitarian in beliefs, Dillon is a deliberate and eager problem-solver. Originating from Gilbertsville, PA and cultivating a passion with music, sound, and technology at a young age, he found interest in attending live music events and participating in his middle school and high school Stage Crews and TV Crews. Working in grade school on musicals, TV broadcasts, and multimedia; it introduced Dillon to collaborating with others over a multitude of mediums.
Dillon expanded his education through Music & Sound Engineering at the University of New Haven where he studied studio recording and processing, music theory, and music industry. Dillon was selected among a group of UNH students for the first edition of a special Study Away program in Nashville, TN where he studied at the renowned Blackbird Studios under industry-leading engineers and producers. In his semester in Nashville, Dillon expanded his knowledge of audio engineering and producing from participating first hand in professional sessions and workshops. In this time he also interned at Sound Stage Studios at Black River Entertainment. Dillon expanded in his independent engineering interning at Philadelphia’s Repercussions Studios and working with clients on music recording, mixing engineering, and mastering. After graduating from university, Dillon moved to Philadelphia where he found opportunity to be involved in community multimedia though USALA Media.
