Fernando Mendez - Director of Programming
Fernando was born in Bogota, Colombia. He is a longtime resident of Philadelphia with decades of community engagement and public service. His community work includes Television host of the show "En Portada," on Telemundo from 2005 to 2014.  A show dedicated to informing the community about current events - interviewing politicians, community leaders and other individuals in the news. Radio Host for, El Ritmo de la Comunidad talk radio, for more than 5 years. Publisher El Tiempo Latino/Latin Times from 1987 to 1992.
Fernando is a founding member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Mexican Cultural Center. He was formerly the Editor of El Sol Latino Newspaper (1996-2002) and presently serve as Editor-at-large.
