Carlos Avila is from Ecuador. He comes from a family of journalist – his connection to the radio began in Ecuador in the early 80’s. He is a writer and journalist. He was the editor of the Spanish language sister paper of The Trentonian – one of the widest read Spanish-language paper with over 20,000 copies. Carlos interviewed dignitaries including two Governors, pop stars and local leaders.
Currently, Carlos is the founder of the Latino publication, BellaVista, covering neighborhood news such as sports, family events and local politics. He is very passionate about building communities.
Carlos obtained his post-graduate certification in judicial journalism from Pontifica Universidad Catolica del Ecuador and his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Universidad de Cuenca, Ecuador.
Jose Valladares is from Honduras. Born to a loving and small family in Central America, Jose made education his priority. He completed his post graduate work at Universidad Global de Honduras. After he completed his studies, he began his career working for a number of local television stations in Honduras, earning recognition for his hard work and in-depth reporting.
Jose is a writer, journalist and reporter. He co-hosted several news talk shows - RC Noticas 1680am and Noticero 60 Minutos 1310am. Jose believes that “if you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way.”
